Ford Mondeo takes to climb temperature needle published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello I have a Ford Mondeo 1.8 I 16V of the year 2001 and I have noticed that a few days ago when I leave the house until I have been about eight or ten minutes walking, it does not start raising the temperature needle and therefore as we are in winter I put the heating and the air is tempered, that it could be, thanks a greeting.

I play it that it is the thermostat that is avoided
if you notice fast temperature when you are at a considerable speed 100 % is the thermostat
that you change very easy the mangress that comes out of the cylinder / butt cover that goes to the radiator is there.
Be very careful how you put it on the same as how you always took some reference because if you get bad you will have the problem in reverse, that is to say a lot of temperature

Thanks for answering so fast, I imagine that I will have to empty the circuit and then fill it with refrigerant, greetings.

@sacapuntas: Actually, if the engine is cold, it is not necessary to empty all that if you are going to wet a little hehehe, such as the mangary where the thermostat is on the top, I mean it comes from the cylinder/butt cover and goes to the radiator or base expands depends as the circuit, a question is that it always comes out of the
cylinder Yours is the following
there a way to test the thermostat that I forget to tell you that it is the following sell a device that submerges it in water (preferential mind that the resipient is quite hard PVC) This is a resistance that heats the water and a digital temperature meter.

Well you fill the resipient, you put the resistance the temperature meter plugs the resistance

you;) want, commonly the thermostats begin to open over the 75º
