Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: jump fuse light position
In the car user manual, the functions of each fuse usually come, as well as the position of the same and the amperage, eg: nº6 10 A, right position, registration light, nº7 10 A, left position, console lighting ...

if you have removed all the position lamps, (not only the rear) and continues to fail, look to see what more things that fuse does, eg, enrollment light, light, lighting. All consumption of that fuse continues to jump, you will have to look at the cable hoses looking for some friction or peeling in them. (Unlikely because the hoses of the pilots do not go in mobile parts such as the doors and the trunk, but it is good to look anyway).

Another thing that can happen to you is that some pilot's cap has been melted or screwed out and despite having no lamp, it is short.

Pilot connectors can also give war, but I don't think they are because the paste is usually the "fair of light effect" (when the dough fails) or that some lamp does not turn on despite being well (when a terminal fails).

All the best.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: jump fuse light position
Hello everyone.

It is a Nissan First 2.0 SLX (91, P10). Not having the workshop manual I don't know the functions that the fuse does. It is the fuse No. 2, left position, 10 A, Tail Lamp-RH, Light Sw. I have removed the lamps, not only the rear, and it remains the same, the light of the enrollment works, I have reviewed the caps and apparently they are fine. Ideas are accepted.

Do you have light in the instrument box when the fuse is disconnected or burned? (It is to discard consumption and focus on what it can be failing)

Anyway, I insist, check the cable hoses in the areas near the pilots, you will not have suffered any blow to the car right? Because sometimes after a blow they give such failures.

Is there any bulb in poor condition? Have you proven them on on? because it is also likely (although little) that the short has the lamp itself.

I don't know, I can't think much more, whatever you tell us to see if you find the ok failure?

All the best.
