Hello ..

I imagine that you will have changed the complete float set that is in the tank, if so, and for the symptoms you describe, it seems to be an intermittence. It can be the wiring that goes from the meter in the tank to the same board. You should do tests canceling by sections. Look at the same connector that is in the float set. Lippia it if necessary. Then you should identify the cables on the board side and test there, to rule out the full stretch of cable. A technician could do this problems. Any query I will be here ...
greetings.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Problems in Hiunday Accent benzine meter
I don't know if you have knowledge of mechanics or electronics. The test that I suggest is to disconnect the float on the side of the board and there to put resistance to see how the needle or fuel indicator varies. Generally the resistant of the meter goes from 100 to 250 ohms. For example, if you place a 100 ohm resistance you would see full tank indication. Increasing the resistance gradually, the needle should go down.
You have to do this test patiently. The fuel needles on the boards have a small mechanical system that make it slowly change position. This is to avoid reflecting in the indicator the fuel movements within the tank with the movement of the car.
The point is that if you test with the resistances and the board indicator does not respond properly, you would have to think that the problem is on the board itself. I hope I have helped you a little. I will be here anywhere.
Greetings.
