Concern for the Light of Latemperature

Good morning, I have a Toyota Vitz from 99 and every time I turn it in the morning the temperature light turns on green, and after a few minutes that I walk rolling it goes out. My concern is whether it is devoted to let it go out when I am in the parking lot of my house, or I can let it go out with the car running.
