Brake problem. Posted by manual-mecanica
Good morning to all. Someone can help me in the repair of brakes of a Mustang 85. What happens is: the pump does not generate enough braking pressure, I have already changed the booster, I change brake lines, the pump already check it and it is in good condition, I have changed front and rear tiles, I change the pistons of the rear drum brake and nothing. It does not stop as the vehicle should be. K more I can do. Thanks in advance .

By chance you already purged the brakes the air in the system does not allow good braking if everything is fine could be the dosing or diversifier valve greetings

Good as Gaudencio says, the bleeding or purging of the brakes is of the utmost importance, this refers to taking out all the air out of the system, if the problem persists, try to regulate the tiles and check the gums of the brake master cylinder, if they are not scratched and that would be useful if you told us that you make your brake the symptom or because you say that it does not stop well to help you better.

Hello if you already checked wheel cylinders, and booster and are in good condition, and there are no leaks in the lines (tubes) and if you have purged the pump first and then the wheels only the pump remains (master piston) but when buying the pump carries the sample to give you an equal if you are not sure that the pump is the car ask for the model.
