Turbo adaptation published by Manual-Mecanica
Holas, it is my first time in the forum. I want to know if anyone knows if there is the possibility of adapting a turbocharger to a Toyota G-Turting 1500cc Motor 5A. I imagine I must change pistons, rings but I don't know anything else. I am passionate about mechanics and I am started my automotive mechanics studies in Cochabamba. Please help, thank you :(

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Turbo Adaptation
Dear Friend: Adapt a turbo to a standard engine will create many complications and I do not tell you this for demoralizing your learning and enthusiasm for automotive mechanics, if you have enough money, think about:
turbo, exhaust multiple, carburetor or other injection system, camshaft, water pump and could number several more.
Your car's cinematical chain would also be suffered with a larger torque engine and would take it to failure after failure.
It is possible that there is a turbo adapt kit for your engine but you have to consult it in a representative.
In any case I congratulate you for your enthusiasm and do not discourage you and if you continue with your idea, do it, buy a multiple and the turbo, take out an oil start for him and test, let me know how it went

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Turbo Adaptation
Holy boys: first of all I appreciate the one they have responded, I was already losing faith. Well the details is that I love getting into the engine, I usually make the arrangements, except when it comes to things that require a certain precision and if I do not have the tools. Ka I am a rookie. You know if the investment is a lot as the risk, what engine do you advise me to put it? The MR2 engine is weird here, another possibility? I imagine that I should buy box and all true?
