Smoke in oil rod published by manual-mecanica
Hello everyone. When the engine runs, smoke comes out through the oil rod (when it opens) and through the oil filling mouth of the valve cover. Recently I changed the radiator, lower part tubes of the radiator and motor refrigerant (IADA Glycogel 50% organic ... the best!) And 15W40 oil and filter. I am sure (almost) that before replacing the radiator this did not happen. Is the CPV oil return watter? Obstructed oil filter (apart from the cartridge does it have a cyclonic filter)? oil sleeves? Segments (compression to the crankcase)? BOARD OF BOARD?. Toyota Land Cruiser HJ60 6 Diesel cylinders 4000cc (2h motor) of 1981. Thank you

More details: I replaced the outer straps (alternator, water pump, service). I changed oil (15W40) and oil filter (I cleaned the oil cyclonic filter that incorporates this engine). I also replaced the air filter.

The oil pressure on the clock marks below 1/3, climbing with the revolutions when accelerating and going down when reaching the idle. Do I try an external pressure meter to make sure that the oil pressure is correct and that the rejoj of the board does not mark correctly? Do you use another oil other than 15W40?

Look friend everything your reports has nothing to do with the problem measures the compression of the cylinders because it seems that the engine is decomprocessing I hope that my opinion serves you chau

Manual-Mecanica response on the re: smoke in oil rod
All the cars, still new, have gase escapes to the carter due to the wear of the compression rings and/or by the high pressures that are handled during the combustion process. You have an engine whose compression ratio 1: 19.0.67 liters per piston and the pressures by compression oscillate between 20 and 28 bars, specifications that your mechanic must corroborate, in addition to performing to your team the equipment or pressure to the carter. Verifies the cleaning of the engine vent and as for the oil for your Toyota equipment suggests SAE10W30 for cold weather, SAE10W40 for moderate climate and SAE20W40 for warm weather for the degrees of your motor oil.
