Reheating and off the car published by Manual-Mecanica
Friends, remember that I consulted on the sound I had in the Nissan Xtrail 2003 engine, because it turns out that on the 11th of this month while circulating at a velocodad of more or foolish 100 km/h, suddenly turned off, for the car and opened the chest, observe that a steam was Refrigerant container, the level of the refrigerant was a centimeter below the maximum line, wait a few minutes and start the car on the motor problem, returned to the city and I walked more or less about 30 km before it goes out again presenting the same characteristic, the level of the refrigerant was yet, wait The car has overheating and that the sound they hear was connecting rod, which had found it almost without refrigerant and almost without oil, as it was Nissan's concessional workshop and they would charge me or eye of the face, I brought a confiabnza mechanic and ask a questions, I monitor the oil and it was half a centimeter on the line of l, it turns it off and I could see that the refrigerant tank was bubbly The water in a pot, I take it out of the workshop and take it to your workshop that is more or less about 40km. A distance did not turn off, if it reheated and muninistría water to the refrigerant for a occasion, it has told me that the problem is from the head of the head, and that it will disassemble it. What jobs should I take care to do or what questions should I make work planning, one of the tasks it told me is that in this VAT process include a head of the head, the radiator cover is Nissan's original and in the concessionaire they told me that the previous owner had repaired the engine in February 2010, where they changed pistons, they rectified block changed jackets It was complete repair, and that the car in October of that year entered overheat and changed the oil and radiator, which will be passing or what if at 9 months of this arrangement has presented overheating.

Thanks and sorry for the litania

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Reheating and Outlet of the car
Friend the problem is that when they repaired the engine did not rectify the surface of the block, they only rectified the cylinder head, if they rectified it? So the butt packing does not last and burns.

When you emphasize the engine, you have to take the cylinders or butt lid and take it to the rectifier so that they will be fan. I hope it serves you

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Reheating and Outlet of the car
Hello,
this of checking the refrigerant level in the plastic container is not correct in all cases. Because in some this is a reservoir while in others that container is part of the system ,,,, then when it has a hot engine and the radiator tine cap is there where to have a refrigerant ,,,,, but if this hot you should not open that plug ..... therefore patience ,,,,,, typical because that work is very common, everyone knows what to do ,,,,,, but the damage was the effect to find out the cause and voila ... luck.
