Motor oil-popcorn by manual-mecanica
: Angry: : Angry: Good I am new and I have nothing because I have a problem I have a Toyota Tercel from the 1992 automatic and today I check the engine oil I did not have almost and when I verify where it can be driving it because I see that where the transmission joins the engine with the engine for there is this wet of oil I think it can be the retaining of the transmission but I do not know if there is a matter of real engine

The Toyota Tercel Com Motor 2E, and in general its engines have a crankshaft tail, which prevents the engine oil from passing the shell of the transmission box, can be changed but you have to lower the gearbox and remove the folding steering wheel, to have it, it is not expensive if it is laborious to change luck and greetings.

Thank you hand if the safest thing is because I am coming down there is the same thing that is what in Puerto Rico we call an oil retainer Truth a question I imagine that you have to lower the transmission truth and already ok

You must indeed get the transmission, here in Chile it is told gearbox and take out the folding steering wheel is behind it.

Ok I already understood but that it is the folding steering wheel is that here in Puerto Rico I had never heard that hand thanks oh if you have some illustration to see what is ok look something else the car makes a noise when it accelerates it that goes down revolutions like cruuuuuuuu and it is close to where the ignition is put in the cover of valves ok thanks
