Good afternoon everyone, I have recently incorporated the forum advised by a friend and looking for information about an XS400.
The specific case that I am trying to put the engine running because it had a loud chain noise when starting and when opening it turns out that the frontal guide of the distribution chain was split and of course the chain did not tenseed.
The theme is complicated, the lower end of this guide (approx 1cm long) is split and fallen I suppose inside the carter.
The question is whether someone knows how to inform me how I rescue the broken piece without already dismantling more things (cylinder head, cylinders, pistons, ..., etc), because I have removed oil filter and nothing appears. There is a flat lid with 6 to Allen, will it serve for that?
