About the vectra, I suppose it will be a 2.0 OHC of 130 hp, and what you are called turbine is supposed to be the torque converter of the gearbox
that I no longer have so clear is what can happen to the car so that it is good to stop and not start more.
Of course, is starting x as simple, oil, water and gasoline right? Because if it is not to kill someone hahaha
and following the rest, look in the cable hoses that are all the connectors on
the next step would be the diagnosis, either with Tech 1 or by light flashing code.
Just in case the failure had left a fault code. What I do not remember is what cables of the Aldl connector had to be bridged to make the diagnosis by the code of intermittence of the fault light.
Anyway, in the workshop manual of that car is detailed step by step how to make diagnosis.
If the failure had not left error in the switchboard, the only thing I could tell you is that you would turn the engine with the spark plugs to see if it has a spark.
In the Opel Kadett and Astra 1.6 1.8 and 2.0 the axis of the ignition distributor was broken at the entrance of the camshaft, in a piece of plastic which did not jump the sparks to the cylinders. (It is a dumb failure that does not warn, the engine stops and does not start)
I do not know how to tell you more because it is difficult without seeing the car.
I hope I have helped you.
